You plan for the birth of your baby, so why not plan for how to feed your baby.

Support begins in the antenatal period.  Learning how to feed your baby in advance of them arriving puts you in a better position to succeed in your chosen feeding method.

Getting off to a good start is so important in initiating and maintaining your breastfeeding journey.

You will learn:

  • Supply and demand of breastfeeding

  • Hand expressing

  • How to latch your baby at the breast

  • Storage of expressed breast milk (EBM)

  • Benefits to both mom and baby

  • Normal newborn behaviour

A practical hand expressing session is included should you wish to look at hand expressing technique.

I support all feeding methods from full breastfeeding, combi feeding and bottle feeding.

Feeding preparation can be tailored to your choice of feeding method.

This also includes colostrum harvesting syringes and a hand expressing practical session.
